Making it clear: Case 2

In an effort to inject a little xenophobia into the healthcare reform debate, Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa) did a mathematical hat trick and issued a press release titled, “CBO: 5,600,000 Illegal Aliens May Be Covered Under Obamacare.” (LINK)

CBO meaning Congressional Budget Office.

“Not true,” says factcheck.org of Rep. King’s release. (NOTE: There’s no direct link to factcheck.org’s full report on King’s claim. To read the report, go HERE, then click on “edit” at the top of your screen, then “find in top window” and type in “Rep. King.”)

According to factcheck.org:

“H.R. 3200 includes a provision that specifically says that there will be no federal funds spent to cover illegal immigrants:
H.R. 3200: Sec 246 - NO FEDERAL PAYMENT FOR UNDOCUMENTED ALIENS

“Nothing in this subtitle shall allow Federal payments for affordability credits on behalf of individuals who are not lawfully present in the United States.”

SPINNING OUT OF CONTROL

To the people of Iowa:

While Rep. King is home on break, I suggest you take him to Dubuque and drop him from the top of the civil war-era shot tower (photo above). Maybe he’ll come out a more well-rounded representative of his constituents.

Signed, DemWit

The lies are getting far too numerous to count. Most are so outragious and so far from reality it's almost laughable. If this doesn't bring an end to the Republican Party nothing will. The ignorance of the general public is the next most dangerous threat to the safety and security of our nation.

These fake representatives and their falsehoods gag a maggot, not to mention what their hate speech does to the masses of the decent people in this nation. It's time to expose all of them, their dirty tricks, and stance as habitual liars. It's time for them to pack their bags and leave the nation's political institutions.

Their inflamatory hate speech and threatening riots at town hall meetings need to be stopped. So all of us need to get aboard to stop them in their tracks and send them back to their caves until they become tame enough to live among civilized people.

We're mad as hell now!

Are there any decent, sane republicans in this country? Some say don't confuse the neocons with republicans, well why aren't the normal sane republicans speaking out? Frank Shaeffer, author of 'Crazy for God' was on Rachel tonight, very interesting indeed!

FYI: are stairs inside the "shot tower" like inside a lighthouse. Men climbed to the top where they dropped molten ore down the open center space. As it spun going down, it formed a perfect sphere. At the bottom, it landed in a pool of water. That's how cannonballs and smaller "shot" were made for the Civil War. That area - Dubuque, Iowa, and Galena, Illinois, on the other side of the Mississippi river - is steeped in Civil War history. Ulysses S. Grant's home is in Galena, Illinois. (Galena means the ore lead.) Two wonderful old towns everyone should see! BJ
