The Fox version

Words of inspiration spoken by the president of the United States at the recent National Prayer Breakfast received this comment on Fox News:

"President Obama misquoted a familiar Bible verse during a faith-based address at the National Prayer Breakfast."
- Fox Nation, 2/03/11

VERSUS

"Obama was quoting from the New International Version [of the Bible], while Fox Nation was pointing to the King James Version to 'debunk' him."
- Media Matters, 2/04/11

Propaganda works: According to Gallup tracking, an average of only 13 percent of registered Republicans approved of the job President Obama did during his second year in office.

Wonder how many versions of that particular scripture they would find if they went through the entire blue zillion versions of the Bible on the market? Guess the axiom "Crazy like a Fox" has a lot of merit when it comes to the radical religious right wingnuts.

They would find fault with Jesus should he appear in front of him. His sandals would be to dusty, his hair to long, his beard ungodly.

According to the Rev. John Hagee he'd be "going straight to hell" because that's where the good preacher said all "those sheet wearing people" were going.

Crazy like a FOX! Ya betcha!

What can you expect from a "news" outlet that posts a map with Egypt in the wrong place?
