Frodo gets chafed when he begins to confuse Baldwin, Hackman, and McConaghuey with the real guys. These American stories are just as important as anything penned by Faulkner or Morris.

Lest we forget.Frodo, a freedom writer,http://loveysdaddyga.tripod.com/blogdirectory/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173973315363181140.post-57159806331115184702010-01-06T12:32:26.272-05:002010-01-06T12:32:26.272-05:00BJ I didn't see the movie either and I'll ...BJ I didn't see the movie either and I'll be back to read this post when the baby isn't here. I don't think I've been to one in over 10 years but I recollect that it received fairly good reviews. If I could figure out how to hook up my VCR, I'd probably watch it.

I appreciate the update which I wouldn't have know about if you hadn't posted it.Leslie Parsleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743778482517634823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173973315363181140.post-22481287176929173482010-01-05T11:07:45.108-05:002010-01-05T11:07:45.108-05:00Now, Leslie, think about this. Think about the brownie points and the press the prosecuting attorney gets for nailing the big fish in this story.

No one is reading this story, and I think it’s important. Bet if they had seen “Ghosts of Mississippi,” they would take an interest.

Thanks forB.J.https://www.blogger.com/profile/12004309077511856506noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173973315363181140.post-85747682107733041312010-01-05T10:36:02.726-05:002010-01-05T10:36:02.726-05:00I woke up in the middle of the night thinking abou...I woke up in the middle of the night thinking about this thing. People will wait 50 years to get revenge, and while things have improved in some quarters, in others they haven't. There's still a lot of meanness and justice doesn't come to everyone by any stretch of the imagination.

But having said all this,Leslie Parsleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13743778482517634823noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2173973315363181140.post-76417406565714808512010-01-04T20:09:59.147-05:002010-01-04T20:09:59.147-05:00Sad.Sad.Bill Sumrallnoreply@blogger.com
